Tea, Please! How tea can help with anxiety and breast cancer.
If you're like me, then you love tea. I'm a self-proclaimed "tea addict" if that is a thing. I buy tea everywhere I travel and it brings me back to that location.
I'm always on the lookout for new teas to try and love nothing more than curling up with a good book and a cup of tea. Recently, I've been reading about the benefits of certain teas for both anxiety and breast cancer patients, so I thought I would share what I've learned.
Chamomile Tea
Chamomile tea has long been used as a natural remedy for anxiety and insomnia. The herb contains compounds that have a calming effect on the nervous system. Chamomile tea is also thought to be helpful in reducing inflammation throughout the body, which can be beneficial for cancer patients.
Lemon Balm Tea
Lemon balm is another herbal tea that has traditionally been used to relieve anxiety and promote restful sleep. The lemon balm plant is part of the mint family and contains compounds that act as sedatives on the nervous system. Lemon balm tea is also thought to have anti-cancer properties and can help boost the immune system.
Ginger Tea
Ginger is well-known for its ability to settle an upset stomach, but it can also be helpful in relieving anxiety. Ginger contains compounds that act as antioxidants and anti-inflammatories in the body. It is also thought to have immune-boosting properties, which can be beneficial for cancer patients.
There are many different types of teas that can be helpful for both anxiety and cancer patients. Chamomile, lemon balm, and ginger teas are all great options that offer numerous health benefits.
If you're looking for a natural way to relieve anxiety or improve your overall health, then consider giving one of these teas a try!
