4 fast steps to get rid of the Sunday Scaries

For many of us, Sunday scaries are an all-too-real phenomenon. The anxiety that comes from thinking about the week ahead can be overwhelming, and it can ruin our weekends. But there are some things we can do to decrease Sunday scaries. Here are four tips:

1. Get organized on Saturday. Spend some time on Saturday getting your ducks in a row for the week ahead. This might mean meal prepping, doing laundry, or organizing your work schedule. Whatever it is that you need to do to feel prepared for the week, do it on Saturday so you don't have to think about it on Sunday.

2. Relax on Sunday. Once you've taken care of everything you need to do for the week ahead, make sure to relax on Sunday. Do something you enjoy, whether that's reading a book, taking a walk, or watching your favorite movie. It's important to recharge before the workweek begins.

3. Go to bed early on Sunday night. Getting a good night's sleep will help you feel refreshed and ready to tackle the week ahead. So make sure to hit the hay early on Sunday night so you can wake up feeling rested and relaxed.

4. Wake up early on Monday morning. Waking up early on Monday morning will give you a chance to start your day off right. Make time for yourself in the morning by doing something calming, like meditating or writing in a journal. This will help set the tone for a productive and positive day.
