Our favorite drinks to relieve a sore throat
A sore throat is one of the most common symptoms of breast cancer. It can be caused by the treatments you're receiving, or it can be a symptom after surgery . Either way, it's no fun. That's why we've compiled a list of our favorite drinks to help relieve a sore throat.
PS- These are also our favorite if you just have a common cold.
1. Honey and lemon tea: This classic home remedy is both soothing and antimicrobial, making it ideal for treating a sore throat. Plus, it's incredibly easy to make. Just mix some honey and freshly squeezed lemon juice into a cup of hot water and voila! You've got a delicious, healing drink.
2. Chicken soup: Chicken soup has been used as a folk remedy for centuries, and for good reason. It's packed full of nutrients and hydration, which can help to soothe a sore throat. Not to mention, it's just plain comforting.
3. Aloe vera juice: Aloe vera is an evergreen succulent with plenty of healing properties.
