10 Natural Remedies for Breast Cancer that Work.

I know the journey with breast cancer can be a tough one, filled with lots of treatments and medications. But sometimes, you just want to go natural. Luckily, there are some great natural remedies for breast cancer that may actually work, and they won’t hurt anything. Here are 10 of them:

1. Red Clover Tea- This tea is full of vitamins and minerals that can help to detoxify your body and promote healthy cell growth. Simply brew a cup of tea using red clover leaves, and drink it three times a day.

2. Dong Quai- Dong Quai is an herb that has been used in Chinese medicine for centuries to treat various ailments, including breast cancer. It can help to relieve symptoms like hot flashes, fatigue, and irregular periods. You can take it in capsule form or make a tea using dried roots. Drink 3 cups a day.

3. Garlic- Garlic is not only delicious, but it also has powerful antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. These properties can help to fight against the growth of cancerous cells. Eat 2-3 cloves of fresh garlic each day, either raw or cooked in your food. You can also take garlic supplements. ( if we may, we suggest your cook them….your friends will thank you )

4. Green Tea- Green tea is packed with antioxidants that help to protect your cells from damage and prevent the growth of cancerous cells. Drink 3-4 cups of green tea daily. You can also take green tea supplements if you don’t like the taste of green tea.

5. Turmeric- Turmeric is another antioxidant-rich herb that is effective against breast cancer cells specifically. You can take turmeric supplements or add them to your food as a spice. Try to consume 1 gram of turmeric daily if possible.

6. Omega-3 Fatty Acids- These healthy fats have anti-inflammatory properties that can help to reduce the risk of cancer cell growth. You can get omega-3 fatty acids by eating fish like salmon or tuna 2-3 times per week or taking fish oil supplements daily. I like Udo.

7. Vitamin D- Vitamin D helps to regulate cell growth and promote apoptosis (cell death), which can help to keep cancer cells in check. The best way to get vitamin D is by spending 15 minutes in the sun each day without sunscreen. You can also take vitamin D supplements if you don’t have enough sun exposure.

8. Acidophilus Milk- This type of milk contains probiotics (healthy gut bacteria) that have been shown to boost immunity and fight against cancer cells. Try to drink 1 cup daily if you aren’t sensitive to dairy. ( keep in mind there are plenty of non-dairy sources. )

9. Flaxseeds- Flaxseeds are rich in fiber, lignans (phytoestrogens), and omega - 3 fatty acids, all of which have anti-cancer effects. Try adding one tablespoon of ground flaxseeds to your breakfast each morning.

10. Cruciferous Vegetables- Vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower contain sulforaphane, a compound that has been shown to stop the proliferation of breast cancer cells. Aim to eat 1-2 servings per day. These are just some natural remedies for breast cancer that actually work!
