How I accidentally stepped out of my comfort zone.

Faking it doesn't have to mean lying; sometimes, it can mean pushing those limiting beliefs aside and living up to your true potential.

When I was younger, I went to summer camp every year, which included a swimming test on day one - the last thing I wanted to do because our lake was cold as ice! Plus, I didn't ( and still don't love swimming )

To avoid taking the test, I went into hiding until the next day when swimming groups were assigned; expecting this time to be in the 'Starfish Losers', I was sent to join the Dolphin group instead, aka the fastest and strongest swimmers of all!

Oh, Sh*T.

This gave me two choices: be honest with my dodging strategy or live up to the potential.
Fake it or make it. This time I chose the latter!

I didn't want to rat myself out, so I went for it. 🏊‍♀️

Often we don't know what we are made of until we step outside our comfort zone.
